As Kobe Bryant labored through much of the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night, the team’s prized youngsters picked up the slack to put the normally woeful Lakers in position to steal a game on the road.
That’s when Bryant came alive down the stretch to help put the game away. Kobe scored nine of his 15 points in the fourth quarter, including this dagger trey:
That led to some “KO-BE” chants at TD Garden after he was booed earlier:
Bryant shot just 5-of-18 for the game, but nobody will remember that considering his clutch play down the stretch.
