The NBA announced the All-Rookie teams on Monday, and Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Andrew Wiggins was the lone unanimous All-Rookie First Team selection.
Wiggins won Rookie of the Year this season, so it’s no surprise that he amassed 130 out of 130 first-place votes. Chicago Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic was nearly a unanimous selection, receiving 128 first-place votes. Philadelphia 76ers big man Nerlens Noel received 125 first-place votes, while Orlando Magic point guard Elfrid Payton got 121. Los Angeles Lakers point guard Jordan Clarkson rounds out the first team with 74 first-place votes.
The All-Rookie Second Team is headlined by Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart and Wiggins’s teammate, Zach LaVine. Two players based in New York wound up on the team, with Brooklyn Nets forward Bojan Bogdanovic and New York Knicks guard Langston Galloway earning All-Rookie honors. Denver Nuggets center Jusuf Nurkic is the final man on the team.
