Oh, how the times have changed. There used to be a time in live sporting events where everybody in the stadium was fully locked into the game, only breaking focus to go to the bathroom or maybe grab a beer. Now, it’s rare if somebody isn’t on their smartphone less than five times a game to answer a text, send a tweet, check an email or snap a photo. One unlucky Hornets fan found out the hard ways of technology after a bad Lance Stephenson pass:
1. Ouch. 2. Good luck not watching this 50 times in a row.
Usually it’s NHL or MLB games where the patrons are told to be aware of flying objects, but I guess when you are lost in your cell phone, you’re never safe.
You can only wonder what this woman was so focused on. Viral cat video? Checking the box score? Debating which Instagram filter to use? We’ll probably never know.
