Vaughn’s Days Numbered in Orlando

The days of Jacque Vaughn as the Orlando Magic head coach appeared to be numbered, as he’s expected to be fired as soon as tomorrow.

From Orlando Magic Stuff:

The Magic are 15-34 on the year following seven straight losses. In his third season, Vaughn appears to be failing at getting the most out of his talent.

Orlando has a solid core in Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris and Nikola Vucevic, plus promising rookie Elfrid Payton.

Vaughn is just 39 and could catch on elsewhere if he leans on the “former Popovich assistant” resume long enough.

Who’s next for the Magic?

Here’s what Chris Broussard from ESPN says:

So, yeah. It probably won’t be Skiles or Jackson.
