Things got a little wild when the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers got together in Hawaii earlier this week, with Trevor Booker taking a swing at Roy Hibbert when the Lakers big man confronted Booker for shoving Julius Randle. Booker has been suspended one regular-season game for his role in the incident, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 27-year-old Booker is expected to play a key role off the bench for the Jazz once again this season. He came over to Utah last year after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Washington Wizards, and he averaged 7.2 points and 5.0 rebounds in 19.8 minutes per game.
Booker even began shooting threes last season after barely shooting them in Washington, knocking down 34.5 percent of them on over an attempt per game. Now he’ll have to wait for Game No. 2 to make his impact in Utah this year.
