There was some belief that Tobias Harris would sign a big offer sheet with another team, but after Paul Millsap turned the Orlando Magic’s offer to re-sign with the Atlanta Hawks, the Magic got a new deal done with Harris:
Tobias Harris agreed on a four-year, $64 million deal with Orlando, league sources tell RealGM.

Harris confirmed the news on Instagram:
Harris is still just 22 years old, and he’s coming off a strong season in which he averaged 17.1 points and 6.3 rebounds while shooting 46.6 percent overall and 36.4 percent from three. The youngster’s had some injury problems over the course of his career, but he’s extremely talented and has plenty of room to grow.
By agreeing to a deal with Harris, the Magic lock in their young core that also features Nikola Vucevic, Victor Oladipo, Elfrid Payton, Aaron Gordon and first-round pick Mario Hezonja. The Magic will be an intriguing young team to watch under new head coach Scott Skiles, who will look to establish a culture in Orlando. If anything, they should be a really fun team next year.
