Thunder-Magic Made NBA Dreams Come True

Kim Klement/USA TODAY Sports

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Orlando Magic submitted an early candidate for game of the year on Friday night, with the Thunder pulling out a 139-136 victory in double-overtime after trailing by 18 points.

This one really had it all. Multiple monster performances. Clutch shots. Back-to-back clutch shots. Russell Westbrook had 48 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds. Kevin Durant had 43 points and 12 rebounds. Victor Oladipo had a triple-double. Just look at these silly box scores:

So about those clutch shots. With the Thunder down three late in the fourth quarter, Durant hit a trey to tie the game:

Then Oladipo:

THEN RUSS:

Pandemonium.

Then in the first overtime, it looked like the Thunder were going to pull it out. BUT THEN OLADIPO AGAIN!:

The Magic had a chance to tie the game once more at the end of the second overtime, but Durant came up with some big defensive plays to shut the door. This game made NBA dreams come true.
