The Golden State Warriors are back, and that’s a good thing. Case in point the first quarter of their opener against the New Orleans Pelicans. Right after getting their rings and unveiling their banner, Stephen Curry and Co. put on a show early on against Anthony Davis and the Pelicans.
Curry scored 24 points in the first quarter and knocked down four three-pointers, and this ridiculous three was No. 4:
But as great as Curry was, the Pelicans had their moments as well, although it wasn’t Davis who provided them. Ish Smith, who was just picked up in free agency, poured in 11 points in the quarter, and KENDRICK PERKINS had eight. Here’s Perkins’s greatest offensive move in years:
