Another seven days, and another Western Conference Player of the Week honor goes to Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry. The Eastern Conference Player of the Week winner goes to a new face in Detroit Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson.
Curry led the Warriors to a 4-0 record on the road this past week. He averaged a league-best 34.5 points to go along with 4.8 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game while shooting a ridiculous 60.8 percent overall and 60.5 percent from three.
Curry reached the 40-point mark in two of the four games. On Dec. 2 against the Charlotte Hornets, he scored 40 points on 18 shots, and then he followed that up with 44 points in a tight win over the Toronto Raptors.
Jackson also led his squad to a 4-0 record. The Pistons point guard averaged 27 points and 8.8 assists while shooting 56.9 percent overall and 52.9 percent from three.
Jackson went over 30 points twice last week, and his best performance was a 34-point, 16-assist effort on Dec. 2 against the Phoenix Suns.
