In his second season with the Utah Jazz, Rudy Gobert is starting to make a real name for himself as a big-time center. Also, he has two amazing nicknames: The Stifle Tower and The French Rejection. Tonight, against the Rockets, Rudy threw down hard and reminded Houston what its defense can look like without Dwight Howard:
It’ll be interesting to see how this kid pans out and if these huge slams will become a trend. Conversely, he hasn’t particularly stood out on offense as he has helped turn the Jazz into a great defensive team. In the meantime, I’ll continue to wrestle over which one of his nicknames are better.
