We basically all saw this coming, but yes, Rajon Rondo is indeed going to join the Sacramento Kings:
Rajon Rondo to sign one-year, $10 million deal with Kings, source told Yahoo

The Kings had shown interest in Rondo for quite some time, and it became even more obvious when free agency began. No other teams showed much of an interest in the mercurial point guard after his disastrous stint with the Dallas Mavericks, so it’s pretty fitting that the disastrous Kings are getting him.
Rondo with DeMarcus Cousins, George Karl and the crazy Kings is just too perfect, and it could be a spectacular dumpster fire. Darren Collison certainly can’t be too happy, especially because you could argue that Collison is a better player at this point. He’s probably already demanding a trade.
However, the fact that it’s a one-year deal for Rondo makes this somewhat palatable. He’ll be out to repair his reputation, which is currently in the pits, and perhaps he bounces back with a strong season (although that could lead to a gross overpay next summer). If everything bombs out, then the Kings will be done with him right away.
Get your popcorn ready.
