Pepsi Releases New ‘Uncle Drew’ Commercial

It’s been awhile since we last caught up with “Uncle Drew,” Kyrie Irving’s alter ego in the Pepsi commercial series. The last time we saw Drew was in 2013, when he was in Chicago schooling youngbloods along with “Lights,” his old point guard played by Nate Robinson. WNBA star Maya Moore was also a part of the fun.

Now Drew is back, and this time he’s in Miami taking on his old nemesis “Walter” in a game of H.O.R.S.E. Walter is played by Ray Allen, and the two take part in an epic duel before Drew comes out victorious. Baron Davis and comedian J.B. Smoove also make appearances in the episode.

The “Uncle Drew” series began in 2012 in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Drew shows up to a outdoor court to watch his “nephew” Kevin play, and when the pickup game needs another player, Drew steps in and shows off his skills.

In Part 2, Drew teams up with “Wes,” one of the members of his old crew played by Kevin Love. Bill Russell makes a cameo in the episode.

Now that Part 4 has come out, hopefully we’ll see Part 5 sometime soon.
