First, we have Prince going to the Minnesota Timberwolves on a one-year, veteran’s minimum contract, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Marc Spears.
The Timberwolves are really making a point to load up on veteran leadership, as the 35-year-old Prince joins veterans Kevin Garnett and Andre Miller in Minnesota. Prince split time between the Memphis Grizzlies, Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons last year, averaging 7.5 points and 3.6 rebounds while shooting an excellent 46.3 percent from three in 58 appearances.
As for McGee, the Dallas Mavericks had been rumored to be in on him, and sure enough:
ESPN sources say JaVale McGee lands two-year minimum deal with Mavericks … with a team option in Year 2

JaVale McGee 2yr minimum w/Mavs, only guaranteed $250k of his deal, another $250k locks in 9/29, another 10/27, 2nd yr non-g @BBallInsiders

McGee is just the latest in the line of big men the Mavericks have brought in after DeAndre Jordan reneged on his verbal commitment earlier in free agency. Dallas already has 15 guaranteed contracts on the roster, so somebody has to go if McGee makes the team. There are still questions about his health, although the Mavericks did a lot of background work on him and believe he’ll be ready for camp.
