Arthur, 27, has spent the last two seasons with the Nuggets, averaging 6.2 points and 3.0 rebounds in 17.1 minutes per game over the two years. He’s only shot 39.9 percent from the field in Denver, although part of that is a function of shooting more three-pointers this past season.
While Arthur’s numbers aren’t impressive, he’s a solid defender, and the Nuggets were significantly better defensively with him on the floor this past year.
Elsewhere in free agency, the Indiana Pacers nabbed another guard in Toney Douglas after he was waived by the New Orleans Pelicans:
Recently waived by the Pelicans, guard Toney Douglas will sign a deal with the Pacers, I've been told. Already there working out.

The Pacers already have 15 guaranteed contracts on the roster, so Douglas is a long shot to make the roster. He barely played last season, appearing in just 12 games with New Orleans.
