The San Antonio Spurs played the New York Knicks on Tuesday night. Most expected it to be an absolute beat down, but the tanking Knicks had different plans, somehow pulling out a 104-100 victory in overtime.
Knicks big man Lou Amundson had a career game, scoring 12 points and grabbing a career-high 17 boards. That led to this:
"A quintessential Lou Amundson-type of game." –these are words that were said by humans. For serious.

These words were uttered by MSG’s Tina Cervasio on the postgame show, and it’s certainly quite a way to describe a game. I didn’t know there was a “quintessential Lou Amundson-type of game,” but now we know what it is. At least I think. I’m still not sure.
