The Minnesota Timberwolves finished with the worst record in the NBA, giving them 25 percent chance of getting the No. 1 pick. The New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic round out the top five teams most likely to get the top pick. There’s still some major intrigue with that Lakers pick, because if it falls outside of the top five, it goes to Philadelphia.
Here’s the pre-lottery draft order. The lottery will be held on May 19.
15. Hawks (via Nets)
18. Rockets (via Pelicans)
23. Trail Blazers
27. Celtics (via Clippers)
28. Lakers (via Rockets)
29. Nets (via Hawks)
