The NBA announced the new League Pass options on Wednesday, which will be available to purchase on Sept. 8:

The Team Pass is a new option that’ll allow fans to have access to every single game of a certain team. The NBA used to offer a five-team package, but it appears that option is no more.
The real interesting option is the Single Game Pass, which will allow fans to watch single games (that aren’t nationally televised) of their choice for $6.99. That’s a pretty steep price to watch just one game, and as SB Nation’s Mike Prada notes, how many non-nationally televised games are really worth that amount to a casual fan who doesn’t purchase the full League Pass?
Even so, it can’t hurt to try something like this out. If it bombs, they could always try it again next year at a lower price point. It’ll be interesting to see the numbers on this when the season is over.
