Golden State Warriors reserve forward Marreese Speights won’t play in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Houston Rockets because of a calf injury:
No official Marreese Speights (right calf) update from the Warriors, but Steve Kerr said the reserve forward won't play Tuesday.

Speights missed the last three games of the Warriors’ series against the Memphis Grizzlies with the injury. The forward didn’t play that much at the beginning of the series, seeing only 24 minutes of action in Games 1-3.
With Speights out, David Lee got more playing time in the last three games of the series. After playing just nine minutes in the first three games of the Grizzlies series, Lee played 46 minutes in the final three games.
It’ll be interesting to see what kind of minutes Lee gets against Houston in Game 1 and moving forward if Speights remains out of the lineup. The pace will be fast and the Rockets are a team that plays a bit smaller, so the Warriors might just go with a bunch of smaller lineups of their own.
