Every year there’s a dominant college team, people start talking about whether or not they can beat a professional team. SMU head coach and long-time NBA headmaster Larry Brown took that a step further on Wednesday, saying he believes undefeated Kentucky could make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference:
Larry Brown just said "I honestly believe Kentucky would make the NBA Playoffs in the East"

I know he said honestly, but I’m really hoping Larry was joking. Yes, the Eastern Conference is bad, but even the worst NBA teams would beat Kentucky way more often than not (maybe every time), and good NBA teams would destroy them. The Wildcats have some really talented players and several that will go high in this upcoming draft, but they’re all super young and they just don’t have the depth top-to-bottom to match up with NBA teams.
So yeah, enough of this nonsense, although I know it’ll never stop.
