Atlanta Hawks sharpshooter Kyle Korver recently underwent surgery on his right ankle to repair an injury suffered in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and now Korver is set to undergo another surgery, this time on his right elbow:

First of all, the “loose bodies” terminology is certainly an interesting way to put this. Are there dead people floating around in there?
In all seriousness, hopefully this really is nothing and it won’t be a problem moving forward. That right elbow is obviously very important for Korver as a shooter, and a nagging problem could be, well, a problem.
Korver had a superb season for the 60-win Hawks, making his first All-Star Game and shooting 49.2 percent from long range. He’s flourished in his three seasons in Atlanta, playing some of the best basketball despite the fact that he’s starting to reach the twilight of his career at age 34.
