The Knicks aren’t winning much of anything this year besides a top five lottery pick. Unfortunately for the fans, there’s still the rest of the season to be played.
Last night at Madison Square Garden, the Knicks were absolutely humiliated by the Kings, losing by nearly 40 points. Rebuilding years aren’t for everyone, and it appears this fan (who probably paid a lot to be close enough to the court to do this) was not up for it:
If this happened to be a New York Rangers home game and somebody on the team scored three goals, this would have been totally fine, but wrong team, wrong sport. Instead, this fan tossed his hat at center court and stormed out early, and then he probably went to check his Gmail to see if James Dolan wrote him back an angry response.
Additionally, this might have been the best tossing of a Knicks hat since Bobby Shmurda’s viral dance last summer:
And I suppose since it’s still New York City and the historic MSG, celebrities continue to sit courtside for the Knicks. Last night, Tom Hanks was in attendance and easily out-shined Derek Fisher and Co., leading to the fans hilariously chanting his name in the middle of the game:
Lets just say the 2014-15 Knicks campaign is something the players, fans and Phil Jackson would soon like to forget:
This wasn’t even from the Kings debacle, but it’s fitting anyway.
