Knicks Could Go After Jeremy Lin, per Report

Linsanity Part Deux? The New York Knicks may have interest in going after Jeremy Lin in free agency:

Lin of course made a name for himself with the Knicks in 2011-12 before joining the Houston Rockets for two seasons. The Rockets traded Lin to the Los Angeles Lakers last offseason, and the guard had a decent year, averaging 11.2 points and 4.6 assists while shooting 42.4 percent overall and 36.9 percent from three.

New York is set to have a ton of cap space this summer, but Lin almost certainly won’t be a high priority. There are much better players the Knicks will focus on chasing, but if they miss out on those players and/or can get Lin at a good price, perhaps it happens.

However, there were rumors of Carmelo Anthony not being a big fan of Lin, and if that’s the case, it’s tough to envision the guard being brought back into that locker room. It would also be an interesting move after trading for Jerian Grant.
