Knicks and Magic Can’t Score

Welcome to Fan Appreciation Night in Orlando where the Knicks and Magic combined to score 15 points. In the entire quarter.

The two teams combined for 6-of-39 from the field in the quarter with each team contributing three made baskets a piece. The Magic turned the ball over seven times in the quarter, and neither team made a three.

Points were going to be hard to come by in this game, but this is obviously drastic. Both teams rank in the bottom six in terms of scoring.

The rest of the game wasn’t nearly as inept. Victor Oladipo led all scorers with 21 points. Cole Aldrich scored a career-high 19 points as the Knicks won on the road 80-79.

The teams combined for a fairly-high 54 points in the first quarter. For the Knicks, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Langston Galloway each shot 4-of-16 from the field, contributing to the scoring woes.
