Somebody please stop the Sacramento Kings. Or perhaps we should say, somebody please stop George Karl:
In midst of DeMarcus saga, Kings showing strong interest in free agent C JaVale McGee, a source said. McGee played for George Karl in Denver

This almost feels like trolling. It’s bad enough that Karl supposedly wants to run star center DeMarcus Cousins out of town, but if one of his ideas as a possible replacement is JaVale McGee, maybe the Kings should hand the veteran head coach his pink slip immediately.
McGee hasn’t been a useful NBA player since 2012-13, when he played for the Denver Nuggets and … George Karl. Apparently Karl must think he can get good production out of McGee again, although he’d have to stay on the court first. He’s played in just 28 games since that season.
Speaking of the Nuggets, Karl supposedly wants to trade Cousins for Ty Lawson, Kenneth Faried and Wilson Chandler, all members of that 2012-13 Nuggets squad that lost in the first round of the playoffs against the Golden State Warriors. I’m kind of rooting for Nuggets 2.0 because that would be hilarious and add to the clown show.
