Young was drafted in Philadelphia by Nets GM Billy King, and of course Kevin Garnett began his career with the Timberwolves. Perhaps this is how Garnett will go out, as a mentor to Andrew Wiggins and the young talent on Minnesota.
Garnett is averaging 6.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Thaddeus Young is averaging over 14 points per game to go along with five rebounds per game. Young will make $9.7 million in the last year of his contract next season.
