Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant and Indiana Pacers forward Paul George were named Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for the week of Nov. 23-29.
Durant returned from a hamstring injury and immediately got back to his dominant ways. In his first game back, he had 27 points on 10-of-13 shooting in a blowout win over the Utah Jazz.
The Thunder went 3-0 for the week, and Durant averaged 30.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the three games. He shot 58.5 percent from the field and 52.2 percent from long range.
Over in the East, George continued his MVP-caliber play by leading the Pacers to a 3-0 week. He averaged 37.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists while shooting 54.7 percent overall and 57.1 percent from three.
George scored 40 points in an impressive win over the Washington Wizards, and he capped off the week with a 39-point effort in a victory over Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers.
