After taking the NCAA tournament by storm, Duke freshman Justise Winslow has his sights set for the NBA.
The Blue Devil officially announced that he will declare for the NBA draft.
Winslow announced his decision on his Instagram, via this tweet:
I would like to thank Duke University for allowing me to be a part of such a prestigious institution… https://t.co/NnwPOU7IZ0

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski released this statement:
“We’re very happy for Justise and his family,” said Krzyzewski. “He had a sensational year, both on and off the court. He was an amazing factor for our success in winning the national championship. From everything we have found out, Justise is projected to be a high lottery pick and we believe that to be true. This is a great time to take advantage of this opportunity. We’re behind him all the way and love him and his family.”
The lefty averaged 12..5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, but really came alive during Duke’s title run. He combined for 30 points and 18 rebounds in the Final Four and National Championship game.
Winslow joins teammate Jahlil Okafor in the draft, and there’s a very real chance he joins him in the top-five picks selected as well.
