Utah Jazz guard Alec Burks is out indefinitely with a fractured left fibula, the team announced Sunday. Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Burks will likely miss at least six weeks.

Burks, 24, suffered the injury after scoring 11 points on 5-of-5 shooting in the Jazz’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night. He also suffered a concussion.

Burks has had an up-and-down 2015-16 campaign after missing most of last year with a shoulder injury. He’s averaging 14.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists, but while he’s shooting 38.7 percent from three, he’s only shooting 40.9 percent overall.

This is just the latest in a line of serious injuries for Utah this season. Point guard Dante Exum tore his ACL in the offseason and center Rudy Gobert has been out all of December with a knee injury of his own. The Jazz have struggled to a 12-16 record with these injuries, but they still currently hold the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference.

With Burks set to miss all this time, more pressure will be on Gordon Hayward and Rodney Hood to pick up the slack on the wing. Joe Ingles and Elijah Millsap will likely also see more action.
