Jabari Parker and the Milwaukee Bucks got some bad news earlier this week when an MRI revealed a sprained right foot. Parker was expected to miss at least the Bucks’ three-game road trip, but the youngster will suit up on the road against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.
This means Parker only had to miss one game due to this foot injury. Considering he’s coming back from a serious knee injury, hopefully the foot is truly 100 percent ready to go and nothing disastrous happens, but it’s hard to imagine the Bucks letting him back out there if that wasn’t the case. So this is great news for Milwaukee.
Parker has played in five games after returning from the ACL tear suffered in his rookie season. He’s averaging 7.2 points and 3.4 rebounds while shooting 50 percent in 22.4 minutes per game. While he’s still working his way back, he’s shown his athleticism off on multiple occasions with some rim-rattling dunks.
