If At First You Don’t Succeed, Count on Zach Randolph

Sometimes the game-winning shot just goes in. Other times, there’s just enough time left to get collect the rebound, put it back, and potentially pull  the early part of the season out of the toilet in the process. Such were the heroics of Zach Randolph of the Memphis Grizzlies tonight.

After Al-Farouq Aminu hit a three to put the Portland Trail Blazers up by one, Courtney Lee missed a corner three that would have put the seal on the game, but it didn’t go in. Never fear, though, Z-Bo is here!

And that’s the main reason why the Grizzlies, who have gotten off to a pretty awful start, are 5-6 instead of 4-7. That might even help wash away the taste of those blowouts at the hands of the Golden State Warriros.
