Jackson names the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, New Orleans Pelicans, Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings as other teams expected to have interest in Dragic. The Lakers, Knicks and Kings make sense, but the Pelicans and Bucks are kind of out there given their point-guard situations.
One interesting note is that Dragic “feels strongly” that the Heat must play faster moving forward, and the point guard has reportedly been assured of that happening. Miami played at the second-slowest pace in the league this year and 21st after acquiring Dragic.
Dragic averaged 16.6 points and 5.3 assists while shooting 50.2 percent overall and 32.9 percent from three in 26 games with the Miami Heat after coming over from the Phoenix Suns at the trade deadline.
