Florida’s Michael Frazier to Enter NBA Draft

Despite it being no sure thing that he even gets drafted at all, Florida junior guard Michael Frazier will enter the NBA Draft:

The 6’4 guard regressed after a strong sophomore campaign, averaging 12.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 41.7 percent overall and 38.0 percent from three. He was a prolific three-point shooter in his first two years at Florida, knocking down 46.8 percent and 44.7 percent of his threes, respectively.

Frazier missed seven games to injury toward the end of the year, and when he returned, he scored 10 points in three games while shooting 2-of-16 overall and 2-of-13 from three. The Gators went 3-4 in Frazier’s absence and a disappointing 16-17 on the season.

Frazier is ranked 79th on DraftExpress’ top 100 prospects list, and he wasn’t even mocked to go in the 2015 draft. DX had him going 42nd in 2016.
