Sacramento Kings star big man DeMarcus Cousins will not be fined or suspended for his outburst in the Kings’ loss to the Golden State Warriors on Monday, according to Yahoo Sports’ Marc Spears.
With the Kings and Warriors locked in a battle in the third quarter, Cousins got upset about a call. His temper got the best of him and got himself ejected, and then he went berserk:
The Warriors proceeded to win going away after the ejection.
The Kings thought Cousins might be disciplined by the league, but despite this outburst and prior track record, he’s getting off scot-free.
Sacramento faces the lowly Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night, so Boogie and Co. will have a great opportunity to get back in the win column.
Cousins is putting up 24.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game on the season, but he’s shooting under 42 percent and has dealt with some injuries. The Kings are 12-19.
