Clippers Reportedy Trying to Get DeAndre Jordan to Change His Mind

The Los Angeles Clippers were devastated when DeAndre Jordan spurned them for the Dallas Mavericks. Left without a legitimate man in the middle and with their options dwindling, the Clippers are getting desperate. And I mean REAL desperate:

Since we’re still in the moratorium, Jordan hasn’t technically signed his new max deal with the Mavericks just yet, and Stein’s report says the Clippers are pushing for a meeting with the big man on Wednesday. The report also claims Jordan is still “torn” and “unsure” about his decision. There’s also this:

This really is hilarious and peak NBA. It’s like Doc Rivers realizes that his starting center is about to be Glen Davis or Brendan Haywood, and like a spurned lover he’s going back to Jordan and begging for him to come back.

Jordan left the Clippers for several reasons. He’s from Texas, he wanted a bit more of the spotlight and he reportedly didn’t get along very well with Chris Paul, who seems too busy vacationing with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony to really care. OR MAYBE NOT:

Jordan reversing course would be ridiculous to begin with, but it would be even more ridiculous given all these factors, although apparently he really does like Los Angeles. Getcha popcorn ready.
