Miami Heat star Chris Bosh was ruled out for the rest of the season in February when blood clots were found on one of his lungs, but the expectation has been that Bosh will be ready to go for the start of next season. The big man reiterated that when he appeared on TNT as a studio guest during Tuesday’s playoff games. (via Sean Highkin of ProBasketballTalk)
Bosh said that he “absolutely” has been working out and that he’s “feeling good.” That’s certainly great news for the Heat and the rest of the league. This was a scary situation for Bosh, and the NBA is a better place when he’s in it and playing well.
Miami had a rough go of it in the first year of the post-LeBron James era, missing the playoffs thanks to not only Bosh’s health scare but a bunch of other injuries. Assuming Bosh comes back healthy and Goran Dragic re-signs, the Heat could be a dangerous team in the Eastern Conference next season.
