Cavaliers Celebrate Their Way to the Finals

The Cleveland Cavaliers have advanced to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2007 after beating down the Atlanta Hawks. They have their midseason acquisitions to thank as well as Kyrie Irving and of course the greatness of LeBron James. As this is LeBron’s fifth consecutive trip to the Finals, he knows all about playing on the NBA’s biggest stage.

But many of LeBron’s teammates haven’t been here before, and it was fun to see some of the youngsters from bad Cavs and Knicks teams of the past few years have some fun celebrating:

And then in the locker room:

Now I’m not saying it was J.R. Smith‘s idea to guzzle champagne and turn up to “Flicka Da Wrist,” but yeah it was probably his idea. But hey, he has certainly earned it.

And of course Kendrick Perkins has both knees equipped with ice packs after playing less than six minutes. Veteran move.
