Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards engaged in a thrilling battle against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night. The Wizards ran out to a 19-2 lead before the Spurs answered with a 26-3 run of their own.
The Spurs led most of the rest of the game, but the Wizards took the lead late in the fourth quarter. After Tony Parker tied the game at 99-99 with a three with seven seconds left, it was time for Beal to go to work:
It was a beautiful play that got Beal out on an island with LaMarcus Aldridge, and Beal shook Aldridge out of his shoes. The budding star shooting guard finished with 25 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals while shooting 11-of-22 overall and 3-of-8 from three. Huge win for Washington.
