Baron Davis Wants to Make NBA Comeback

Baron Davis last played in the NBA with the New York Knicks during the 2011-12 season, appearing in 29 games and averaging 6.1 points and 4.7 assists while shooting 37 percent from the field and 30.6 percent from three. While he hasn’t played in several years and seemed pretty done last time he played, Davis is going to try to make an NBA comeback:

There have been rumors of Davis trying to get back in the league the past few years, but now it sounds like he’s really going to try for it this time around. Davis is 36 years old, but he showed that he’s still got it at a Drew League game two weeks ago, dropping 44 points.

Of course, the Drew League isn’t the NBA, so that doesn’t mean all that much. But if Davis is able to secure some tryouts and impress enough in those, perhaps we’ll see him back in the NBA next year. That would be pretty cool.
