The NBA has been looking at ways to help give players more rest over the course of the long season, and one solution has been to not have teams play four games in five nights. It’s looking like those stretches will either be totally eliminated or mostly eliminated next season:

This is certainly good news, as those stretches really are brutal for teams. Anything that can be done to help give players more time to recover and reduce the chance of injury is a plus, so this is a good start.
