Derrick Rose scores first points of 2016-17 NBA season

The New York Knicks made a big splash by acquiring Derrick Rose via trade from the Chicago Bulls this summer. The Rose era in New York got off to a rocky start thanks to his civil rape trial, but he was found not liable and returned to the Knicks in time for the beginning of the season. He then promptly scored the first two points of the 2016-17 NBA season:

The rest of Rose’s first stint was a bit of a mess, but the Knicks are hoping this bucket is the first of many during a bounce-back campaign.
